Alvin Byrd wins endorsement of Harris County Treasurer

HOUSTON, TX - Harris County Treasurer Dylan Osborne today became the first Harris County elected official to publicly support a District B candidate, throwing his endorsement to front-runner Alvin Byrd.

Osborne, a staunch Democrat, lauded Byrd for his vast knowledge on city issues and his long track record of proven results.

"I know Alvin has the experience needed to lead District B to new heights. He has a passion for community service and the knowledge to make good things happen for his district," Osborne said. “He loves District B and I am happy to support him."
 
Byrd returned the compliment, terming Osborne "a fierce advocate for residents of Harris County."

The endorsement adds to Byrd’s growing list of endorsements from local organizations, community leaders, and elected officials.
